winnie is our almost-four year old maltipoo. she is around 5kg in weight but much much bigger in spirit.
if i had to describe her personality in one word i would say 'earnest'. i know i'm biased, but this dog is love incarnate. she is joy and the sincerest form of love i have ever known.
she is also a goober who ignores her water bowl in favour of jumping at the sink until someone lifts her onto the counter so she can drink fresh from the tap.
every stranger is also just a friend winnie hasn't met yet, and it is very common for them to say "aw, a little puppy" and we have to correct them and say that she is, in fact, a fully-grown adult dog.

- she loves hide and seek and whenever we get home from a walk she has to zoom around the garden in excitement to be at her home
- when she wants to play she runs up to you, puts a paw on your leg, and maintains steady eye contact
